Steven has directed, among other works, The Merry Wives of Windsor for the Actors Shakespeare Project; The Compleat Works of William Shakespeare (Orfeo Group), which won the Elliot Norton Award for Best Fringe Production in Boston; and Fully Committed, which received an award for Best Solo Performance (Gabe Kuttner).
